YEKATERINBURG, July 5, FederalPress. Innovative projects that became the winners of the first accelerator of the road industry of the FAA Rosdornia have found their application in real life. This was announced in an exclusive interview at the FederalPress stand within the framework of the main industrial exhibition Innoprom-2021 by Alexey Kovrov, Deputy Director General of the Institute.
"We have 14 projects last year – these are 14 finalists who turned out to be the most interesting and ready. The winners included projects at a high level of readiness. Of the 14 finalists, we have 3 winners," Kovrov said.
The first place was taken by the project to create an intelligent system for lighting pedestrian crossings: this is a solution that significantly contributes to safety. Unlike many existing analogues, it is inexpensive, determines the presence of a pedestrian and a car on the roadway and spotlights the necessary section of the road.
"This system is being implemented in several regions, at the time of completion of the accelerator, the guys were already working with Kaluga. And the statistics of accidents at specific points where there was tension in the plan victims of road accidents, says that the system is very useful, " said Kovrov.
The second place was taken by a project to develop a highly resistant anti-corrosion coating for metal structures. The development team is already working with the oil sector, but they decided to offer a solution for the road industry as well: bridges, metal fences, etc. can be coated. The new coating turned out to be cheaper than existing analogues on the market, and also bypassed them in durability.
The third place was taken by a project that proposed one of the options for the technology of using ash and slag materials (a solid fuel combustion product). According to the agency interlocutor, the topic of secondary resources turned out to be very popular. And now the developers are negotiating with the Kaluga region, which is also ready to apply this technology.
Russia's first industry accelerator for startups working on innovative technologies in the road industry has been launched on the basis of the Russian Road Research Institute (Rosdornii) as part of the implementation of the national project "Safe and High-quality Roads".
In 2021, Innoprom is being held for the 11th time, The exhibition will last until July 8 at the Yekaterinburg-EXPO International Exhibition Center. FederalPress is the official media partner of the exhibition.
