On March 26, a working meeting was held between the Governor of the Kursk Region, Roman Starovoit, and Stanislav Naboko, Director General of the Federal State Enterprise "ROSDORNIA". The prospects of cooperation between the regional authorities and the scientific institution were discussed. In particular, it was about carrying out instrumental diagnostics of the technical condition of highways.
The main task facing the authorities of the Kursk region is to bring the road and transport network into a state that fully meets the needs of the population, stressedRoman Starovoit.
Stanislav Naboko assured the governor that the FAA "ROSDORNIA" has solutions that can be used for the benefit of the region. The head of the scientific institute proposed to connect the region to the road funds control system (SKDF). The Kursk Region may become a pilot region that has "digitized" all regional and local roads. The SKDF today contains detailed information about 100% of federal highways, 99% of regional and 65% of local, planned road works and maintenance costs. The information is available to everyone. According to Stanislav Naboko, the SKDF will make it possible to do the work of the road industry as transparent as possible.

The possibility of participation of the Kursk region in the project "My Road", which is being implemented by ASI and FAA "ROSDORNII" with the support of the Ministry of Transport of Russia, was also discussed. The new platform will help establish a feedback mechanism from the population and involve residents of the Kursk region in the implementation of national road projects.
