On March 25 and 26, Novosibirsk hosted the All-Russian conference "Modern technologies of winter road Maintenance", organized by the FAA "ROSDORNII" together with the National Association of Winter Road Maintenance. The main topic of the forum was the application of the new
GOST R 58427-2020
"Deicing materials for use on the territory of settlements. General Technical requirements", which entered into force in December 2020. The event was attended by representatives of the Novosibirsk administration, industry structures, specialized universities, operating organizations. On the second day, the conference participants visited the objects of road construction works, a base of specialized road equipment and a snow melting complex.
The choice of the conference venue was not accidental. Two years ago, the Siberian capital abandoned the use of traditional sand-salt mixtures and switched to the use of anti-icing materials that are safe for cars, people and shoes. GOST R 58427-2020 made this condition mandatory for all Russian regions. Today on most crushing screenings are used to combat ice in Novosibirsk streets, and in the city center and in Akademgorodok – the reagent "Bionord" of Russian production.
"The reagent has shown its effectiveness. Next season we will try to expand its application. We are preparing equipment, changing equipment so that the machines can be used for chemical reagents. The equipment should work clearly, ensure the intensity of scattering from 30 to 37 grams per square meter," said the deputy mayor of NovosibirskOleg Klemeshov.
According to the Director of organizational activities of the CC FAU "ROSDORNII"Alexey Kovrov, technologies of winter maintenance of highways are of key importance for ensuring their long-term trouble-free operation, since in the cold season, due to temperature fluctuations and exposure to aggressive environments, the wear of the roadway is significantly higher.
"It is not enough just to repair or build roads. In order for all this to be preserved and serve people for a long time, it is necessary to introduce a single standard of content. Therefore, today the tasks of monitoring the content have already appeared in the passport of the federal the project "System-wide measures for the development of road infrastructure"," the expert noted.
The methodology for assessing the quality of winter maintenance of highways was introduced to the conference participants by the head of the Department for monitoring the quality of road works of the FAA "ROSDORNII"Pavel Kriushin. The specialist spoke about the accumulated Russian and foreign experience in this area, about various approaches to assessing the quality of winter maintenance and the requirements of current standards (including those related to GOST R 58427-2020), about methods of monitoring the operational parameters of the pavement in winter, primarily about coupling properties that have a direct impact on road safety traffic number of accidents. The experience of using domestic and foreign devices for measuring the coefficient of adhesion in the winter period of the year was also substituted.
In addition, the forum participants discussed the economic aspects of the use of technologies for winter maintenance of highways, new promising developments in this area, the possibility of improving road safety when using LED traffic lights and the quality of inert deicing materials.
"The new standard contains requirements not for the chemical composition of the reagents used, but for the technological parameters that they must meet. This is a reduction in the impact on the corrosion of metals, on the wear of materials from which shoes are made, as well as the requirement for the absence of an allergenic factor introduced for the first time in Russian practice. We tried to take into account everything that concerns residents of cities, as well as the interests of road services," summed up the head of the staff of the National Association of Winter Road MaintenanceAnna Klimentova.
On the second day of the Conference, field events were held: a demonstration of the state of the Novosibirsk city road network, a visit to the base of specialized road equipment with a demonstration of automatic systems for refueling and accounting of equipment with deicing materials, an inspection of the snowmaking complex.
