Quality audit is carried out at different stages of road works, attention is paid to both the correctness of documentation and compliance with safety requirements in the organization of work, and the quality of raw materials, compliance with the declared technology, organization of construction control.
At the first site visited by FAA specialists "ROSDORNII" is 3 kilometers of the Opuchkovo—Yangosar highway near Vologda - the coating has already been laid, but the work has not yet been completed. Experts took samples of asphalt concrete pavement – 3 cores.
"Cores are selected according to GOST by a core collector. For further testing, we select cores with a diameter of 150 mm. Then we will send them to the laboratory, where we will test them for physical and mechanical parameters," said Pavel Kriushin, head of the operational Audit Department of the Road Works Quality Monitoring Department.
The next day, samples of the road surface were taken from another large city in the region – experts are checking the quality of the entrance to Cherepovets. Today, the quality of road works at the site in the Cherepovets district was monitored. And the farthest point of the trip will be the Elovino-Koskovo road in the Kichmengsko-Gorodetsky district.
At each point of the route, specialists also check asphalt concrete plants that supply materials for repair facilities under the national project. Experts take samples of bitumen and crushed stone.
