On December 14, the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation hosted a round table on the problem of reducing the negative noise impact on the environment. The event was attended by representatives of the state company Avtodor, Bauman Moscow State Technical University, design organizations and manufacturers of noise protection structures.
The FAA "ROSDORNII" was represented by the head of the Quality control Department of road construction works Alexander Batyuk.
During the discussion, the issues of creating noise maps for cities with a population of more than one hundred thousand people, reducing the noise impact from transport facilities, designing and building noise screens were considered. In addition, proposals were made to improve the regulatory framework for noise.
