Lidiya Gorelysheva, Head of the laboratory of asphalt concrete, organomineral mixtures and organic binders, made a report "Determination of characteristics of polymerasfalt concrete" at the international scientific and practical conference "Ways of development of regional road infrastructure".
The calculation of the thickness of the coating layers in the design of road clothes is currently carried out in accordance with ODN 218.046-01. However, this document does not contain data for calculating road surfaces made of polymerasfalt concrete and crushed-mastic asphalt concrete due to the lack of approved quality parameters of these materials.
Within the framework of the agreement with PJSC SIBUR Holding, the experts of the FAA ROSDORNIA determined the design characteristics of polymerasfalt concrete of various types necessary for the design of non-rigid road surfaces, and also developed proposals for inclusion in ODN 218.046-01 as an addendum.
The event was held in Astana (Kazakhstan) as part of the XV anniversary international exhibition "Kazavtodor - Kaztraffic 2018". The latest achievements in the field of road construction and repair were presented at the exhibition, maintenance of highways. The exposition was attended by modern scientific and technical developments and products of more than 100 leading companies from Russia, the Republic of Kazakhstan, Belarus, the USA, Germany, Turkey, China and other countries.
