The forum KAZAN DIGITAL WEEK-2020 was held in the online format
On September 21-24, the international forum KAZAN DIGITAL WEEK-2020 was held. The stated mission of the event is to form a platform for scientific, technical and commercial communication of developers and users of technologies, products and services of digital transformation. One of the main topics of the forum was the topic of intelligent transport systems.
Thus, the entire second day of the forum was devoted to the identified issues. The discussion took place in several sections at once. An expert from the FAA "ROSDORNIA" spoke at the section "Transport systems and traffic safety". The report "The main vectors of development of intelligent transport systems of the Russian Federation" was presented by the Head of ITS DepartmentVasily Kurguzov.
The speaker presented a cross-section of data on the readiness of road infrastructure in different countries for highly automated vehicles and voiced the existing problems of the introduction of intelligent transport systems. Among the issues that need to solve for the efficient and safe use of ITS:
– Low functional compatibility of the solutions used;
– High level of vulnerability of information and telecommunication infrastructure;
– Fragmentation and disunity of information and telematics systems;
– Heterogeneity of hardware and technological support.
According to experts of the Russian Road Research Institute, the solution to these problems should be the creation of a national network of ITS with a single digital platform of the transport complex of the Russian Federation. The speaker named the technological and supporting elements of the proposed system, presented the project of ITS testing ground.
The third day of the forum opened with a round table "Smart City: Experience of innovative development of transport infrastructure and urban mobility". The moderator of the round table was the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, the leading –Ekaterina Bryazgina, Director of ITS Development at the Federal State Enterprise "ROSDORNII".
The mayors of foreign cities – representatives of Turkey, China, Iran and Moldova. They spoke about the experience of innovative development of transport infrastructure. So, in the city of Hangzhou, digital management has been created on the roads, which allows you to track, for example, the congestion of parking lots and the number of passengers in public transport.
Then representatives of Russian cities and cities of the CIS countries shared their experience in the framework of the discussion "Urban mobility". For example, in Belgorod, roundabouts were abandoned to combat traffic jams, traffic flows are distributed along multi-level roads. And in Nur-Sultan, the capital of Kazakhstan, they introduced the "Face Pay" system in public transport. Now you don't need cash, cards, or phones to pay.
The organizers of the forum were the Government of Russia, the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, GBU "Road Safety", the group of companies "InnoSTage", Ak Bars Bank, the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan.
