World Transport Congress in Beijing

On June 13-16, Beijing hosted the World Transport Congress (World Transport Convention 2019, “WTC-2019”) with the participation of transport industry specialists from all continents, including official delegations from Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, Laos, Latvia, Nepal, Pakistan, Sudan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, South Africa, as well as representatives of specialized branches of world organizations (UN, World Bank, IRF, TRB, iRAP, etc.) and major corporations (Alibaba, China Communication Construction Corporation, China Gezhuba Groupe Corporation, LafargeHolcim, etc.).

Within the framework of WTC-2019, a meeting and a symposium of the International Transport Alliance "One Belt, One Road" (Belt&Road International Transport Alliance, "BRITA") were held, at the event the adviser to the Director General S.L. Mamulats made a report on "Directions and opportunities for international scientific and technical cooperation in the implementation of national projects "Safe and high–quality automotive roads" and "Comprehensive plan for modernization and expansion of transport infrastructure".

A series of publications will be prepared about the numerous thematic sections of the Congress.
