Experts of the International Road Federation (IRF) discussed the issues of personnel training at the stage of the "transition period"

On April 23, 2020, the seminar of the International Road Federation (IRF) "Unlocking the potential of road infrastructure for joint, connected and automatic mobility (CCAM)" was held in videoconference mode, which was attended by representatives of the FAA "ROSDORNIA": Deputy Director for Science Vitaly Mironyuk and Head of the Statistics and Accounting Department Mikhail Ivannikov.

The seminar was organized by the International Road Federation (IRF) in cooperation with the European Road Federation (ERF) and the European Association of Toll Road Operators (ASECAP), with the participation of specialists from key transport sector organizations around the world.

During the online session, world experts discussed the problems of standards for the introduction of technologies related to automation and digitalization of road infrastructure, technological innovations, as well as the prospects of the labor market in the context of global automation. The meeting raised the issue of the rapid development of unmanned transport and the need to adapt the entire road infrastructure to the new reality.

Taking into account the ongoing changes, the need for new personnel training is increasing. generations for work in the road sector. During the meeting, a new SKILLFUL training system was demonstrated. This project involves the development and implementation of a cycle of training programs for employees of the transport industry.
