April 14 at Pyatigorsk has started its annual regional conference and exhibition "ITS regions". The organizer of the event is the Association "Digital Era of Transport" with the support of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, the Federal Road Agency, the FAA "ROSDORNII" and industry associations. The event was attended by more than 250 participants from 35 regions of the country.
Delegation The Ryazan region is represented by the Deputy Director of the Directorate of Roads of the Ryazan region Roman Kozlov and the head of the Department of development and operation of ITS Directorate of Roads of the region Alexey Shurygin.
The result of ITS implementation in the territory was presented at the event Ryazan region. Roman Kozlov noted that the project to create ITS in the region was developed and approved in 2020.
In 2021, software development was carried out with simultaneous phased implementation of the system. "In 1 year we have achieved good results. We have an integration platform in which 8 modules work, 10 tool subsystems have been created. More than 200 units of peripheral equipment have been connected to ITS, integration with the regional navigation system has been completed," Roman Kozlov said.
Traditionally, ITS Regions is a place of dialogue between federal and regional authorities, specialized transport departments and manufacturers of IT solutions for the transport industry.
The key issues for discussion will be the digital development of transport infrastructure in the regions Russia, the impact of sanctions and support measures, the current development of intelligent transport systems within the framework of the national project "Safe High-quality Roads", new technologies and solutions, the opening and upcoming tasks of the ITS competence center.
The conference "ITS Regions" will last until April 16 inclusive.
