Employees of one of the key coordination centers of the country, which monitors the implementation of the national project "Safe and high-quality Highways", conduct selective monitoring of the quality of road works in the regions.
On June 16, experts together with the head of the Department of Road Management and Transport of the Vologda Region Andrey Nakroshaev left for the Opuchkovo-Yangosar highway in the Vologda region. Its repair is carried out within the framework of the national project "BCAD". In 2019 , a 2.6 km section was renovated . This year - another 3 kilometers, which have not yet been commissioned.
Employees of the Russian Road Research Institute conducted a sampling of the pavement for further tests in the laboratory. The conclusion of specialists will help to find out how the laid mixture meets the requirements of regulatory documentation. The results of the samples will be known in a week and a half.
The main purpose of monitoring is to bring information about the quality of road construction work to all interested participants in road activities so that possible comments can be excluded in the future. And the received recommendations can be applied not only to the selected object, but also to other objects of NP "BCAD".
Quality audit is carried out at different stages of road works, attention is paid to both the correctness of documentation and compliance with safety requirements in the organization of work, and the quality of raw materials, compliance with the declared technology, organization of construction control.
"The most important task is to build and invest budget money qualitatively in territorial roads, thereby improving the operational network of our roads," said Yuri Belyaev, Deputy Director for Organizational Activities of the CC FAU ROSDORNII. – Vologda has pleased us - there are quite strong contracting organizations, strong personnel, including territorial authorities. Therefore, the road industry is well represented here. We have studied the project documentation, work logs, we have no comments. Let's see what the tests of the samples will show, after that we will finally draw conclusions."
The specialists plan to monitor the quality of three more facilities: the A114 Shulma-Krutets highways in the Cherepovets district, Elovino-Koskovo in Kich-Gorodetsky district, Entrance to Cherepovets (from Ammofos).
"More than 300 kilometers of regional and municipal roads will be repaired in the region this year. One of the conditions for the implementation of the national project "Safe and high-quality highways" is strict quality control of the work carried out in the regions. It is carried out both by the contractor himself and by the organization that is the customer. In addition, as part of the national project, we have external inspectors who come to us, take their samples and make an independent quality assessment," said Andrey Nakroshaev, Head of the Department of Road Management and Transport of the Vologda Region. "If there are any comments based on the results of laboratory tests, we will issue an order to the contractor to eliminate them."
It should be added that the quality of roads in urban and municipal agglomerations will be checked by employees of the Russian Road Research Institute during the next visit, also this year, the press service of the Government of the Vologda Region reports.
