The repair of highways under the project "Safe and high-quality highways" will be thoroughly checked by experts of the Russian Road Research Institute. They will take samples at four sites in different districts of the region. Roman Postnikov understood the technology of collecting and detailed examination of samples.
RosdorNIA specialists use a core sampling device, as asphalt samples are called. Taking a sample takes several minutes. The core is removed with a special tool. This piece of asphalt will soon be delivered to the testing laboratory.
Experts perform at least three tests on each section of the road. This will allow you to compare the results of research and achieve a more objective result. The audit program includes several indicators.
Such studies are conducted in all regions of the country. According to their results, prescriptions are issued for the elimination of comments. In the future, RosdorNII controls their execution. There are no serious comments on our region.
During the week, the road laboratory will work at four sites – in Vologda, Cherepovets and Kichmenskoe-Gorodetsky districts. If necessary, their number can to be enlarged.
Experts also evaluated the asphalt concrete plant in Vologda. He supplies materials for road repairs as part of the national project. Such serious attention of regulatory authorities is quite justified – billions of rubles are allocated from the federal budget for repairs and they should be spent efficiently.
