The VIII annual conference "New progressive technologies of repair and maintenance of highways" is being held in Chelyabinsk. The event organized by the Association "RADOR" is attended by representatives of the Ministry of Transport of Russia, the Federal Road Agency, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, the FAA "ROSDORNII", FSBI "Rosdortechnology", the Association "R.O.S.ASPHALT", regional road departments, as well as contractors, design and organizations.

One of the key issues of the conference was the implementation of the national project "Safe High-quality roads". According to the Director of the Department of State Policy in the field of road management Ministry of Transport of Russia Andrey Shilov, according to the results of 2021, the increase in the share of roads of urban agglomerations that are in the standard amounted to 6 thousand km and increased their total length from 92 to 98 thousand. In order to improve the work planning procedure, Andrey Shilov reminded the subjects of the need to update the lists of roads of agglomerations. Special attention should also be paid to the list of artificial structures that are scheduled for repairs in the near future.

In general , in 2022 thanks to the national project in 84 regions of the country is planned to bring about 4.7 thousand objects with a total length of more than 15 thousand km into a normative state. For these purposes, within the framework of the federal project "Regional and local road Network", more than 340 billion rubles are provided from budgets of all levels.

Deputy Head of the Federal Road Agency Igor Kostyuchenko, who took part in the videoconference event, noted that the contracting of facilities this year is in the final stage, and focused on the need to accelerate this process. He also recalled that the key control point is the date of December 1, 2022. By this time, the cash execution under federal support should be 100% completed.

As for the expenditure of funds, in the first quarter of 2022, the schedule for financing federal budget expenditures Rosavtodor was provided with 108 billion rubles, the execution amounted to 113.4 billion rubles. The plan was exceeded by 5.4 billion due to the use of 5% of the reserve of the Ministry of Finance of Russia.

"These are good indicators, we have coped quite effectively. The task for the II quarter of the current year ― achieving the fulfillment of all the provided funds of the federal budget, namely ― 157 billion rubles," he stressed Igor Kostyuchenko.

Speaking about the current economic situation, Deputy Head Rosavtodor noted that the road industry is an industry of advanced development. For smooth operation and realization of its potential, the state has given all the necessary resources. In particular, recently The Government of the Russian Federation has issued a number of resolutions aimed at supporting the road industry.

One of the main goals of the national project "Safe High—quality Roads" is to improve the quality of life of the population, therefore, when planning works, special attention is paid to roads leading to socially significant objects. So, in three years, more than 2.1 thousand sections of roads to schools and kindergartens, more than 1.2 thousand to medical institutions and about 800 roads to tourist places have been repaired in 84 regions of the country.

The result of such work was not long in coming: according to the results of a study conducted in December 2021 All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion, 49% of residents of Russian regions We are satisfied with the quality and accessibility of highways in the country, and also note improvements in road transport infrastructure.

"The assessment of our work with you is given, first of all, by the residents of the regions. For effective work, we need to detail the work programs for a three―year period, work out the risks in advance, strive for a "shift to the left" ― to be aimed at advancing development," he stressed Igor Kostyuchenko.
