The Institute's staff got acquainted with the advanced trends in the sector of municipal digitalization, intelligent transport systems and traffic management. The topics of the future prospects of smart cities, urban environment planning and smart mobility were presented by experts from Israel, Italy and Switzerland.
Also within the framework of the conference, a virtual exhibition space was organized, where Russian specialists visited the stands of seventeen leading Israeli enterprises and held a number of online meetings with representatives of the companies "Snowless" (reactive autonomous snowmelt technology in real time) and "Exelerate" (innovative solutions for problems of urban traffic regulation).
"The experience of participating in this event will contribute to the introduction of ITS on the road network of urban agglomerations of the Russian Federation," said Igor Evstigneev, Head of the Digital Technology Implementation Department of ROSDORNIA.
