ROSDORNII conducts sociological studies of the transport behavior of the population as part of the development of transport planning documents in the Voronezh and Astrakhan regions, as well as in the resort city of Sochi (Krasnodar Territory).
The conducted surveys allow us to determine the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of users of transport systems: the main goals of movement, preferences in choosing the type of transport, the time of various kinds of trips, characteristic correspondence. This information will be used in the future to develop transport models and develop measures for the development of transport infrastructure and optimization of passenger transportation systems.
Also, in the process of surveys, the overall level of satisfaction of the population is assessed, the wishes and opinions of residents on the development of transport are collected. The analysis of this information within the framework of transport planning documents will allow us to fully take into account the public demand and form socially-oriented transport systems.
The survey of almost 2.5 thousand people is being completed in the Voronezh Region. The study is conducted on the territory of 31 municipal districts and 3 city districts, including directly in Voronezh, where the number of respondents will exceed 1 thousand people.
On the territory of the Astrakhan region, the total number of respondents should be 3 thousand people, in the resort city of Sochi - 1 thousand. man.
