Rosstandart approved the national standards developed by ROSDORNIA on the use of concrete mixtures in road construction. The past requirements for concrete were developed more than 50 years ago and no longer took into account the current global requirements for such materials.

Also, the regulatory and technical documents for concrete mixtures in force up to now did not take into account the requirements of the interstate standards of the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union "Road Safety" (TR CU 014/2011) in terms of road construction materials. Including the grain composition of aggregates, the crushing capacity of crushed stone and gravel, crushing and wear of large aggregate, and also did not fully take into account the specifics of road works.

According to Sergey Stuk, Deputy Head of the construction laboratory of ROSDORNIA, these national standards are harmonized with TR CU 014/2011 in terms of requirements for raw materials, and also contain requirements and methods for determining the technological characteristics of concrete mixtures used in road pavement structures.

The following standards have been approved:

1. GOST R 59300-2021 "Public automobile roads. Concrete mixes for the device of layers of bases and coatings. Technical conditions";
2. GOST R 59301-2021 "Public automobile roads. Concrete mixes for the device of layers of bases and coatings. Test methods";
3. GOST R 59302-2021 "Public automobile roads. Concrete mixes for the device of layers of bases and coatings. Rules of composition selection".
