Since the beginning of 2021, the diagnostics department of ROSDORNIA, together with the regional branches of the Institute, has checked the technical condition of the road surface on regional, inter-municipal and local roads with a total length of more than 34 thousand kilometers. Selective assessment of the technical condition (diagnostics) of roads is carried out within the framework of the implementation of the national project "Safe High-quality Roads".
ROSDORNII has started work on the diagnosis of highways in 70 subjects of the federation. As of July, work has been completed in 37 regions on areas of confirmation of the national project targets and in 20 subjects on monitoring areas of application of new and best technologies, materials and technological solutions for reuse. In 14 regions, the start of work is scheduled for the near future.
The selective assessment of the technical condition (diagnostics) of highways performed by the FAA "ROSDORNII" includes:

- Assessment of the technical condition of highways that are in a standard condition at the beginning of the year;

- Assessment of the condition of the road surface on the commissioned sections, where during new and the best technologies, materials and technological solutions of repeated application were used for repair and construction works;

- Assessment of the condition of the road surface on the commissioned sections, the construction and repair of which were carried out without the use of new technologies;

- Monitoring of areas of application of new and best technologies put into operation in 2019-2020.
