Another international forum on "smart transport" was held on December 5 and 6 in Moscow at the Marriott Grand Hotel.
This time, the initiators of the DIGITAL & SMART TRANSPORT FORUM - 2019 were the Centers for Strategic Developments in Transport (CSRT) and Strategic Developments in Civil Aviation (CSR GA).
It is no secret that today the topics of digitalization of transport, digital technologies of transport planning and modeling are among the most key and discussed. In 2019, the Directorate for the Development of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) was established in the FAU "ROSDORNIA".
The DIGITAL & SMART TRANSPORT forum presented reports on big data management in the transport industry, data management of modern digital companies, digital transport planning technologies, technologies for high-speed processing of telematics information. In the sessions "Strategies. Innovation. Technologies, trends", "Key trends of digitalization of the transport industry" were attended by "Arenadata", "Transset", DIS Group "Institute of Transport Planning", NPP "RELEX", etc.
The session "Digitalization of road transport and road traffic" united in-depth reports "Digital platform for monitoring visualization and traffic flow management" (G.Parfenov, SIMETRA), "Digital Road model for advanced road transport systems" (S.Zhankaziev, MADI), "IT in Traffic Management" (A.Evsin, Moscow Government Traffic Management Center).
During the session "Digitalization of transport systems. ITS" considered the issues of a unified information space, the use of biometric technologies, virtual and augmented reality in the transport industry (reports of experts of the National Chamber of Engineers on Engineering Consulting in Construction, NEK Neva Communication Systems, General VR Research LLC, the Institute of Transport Planning, etc.). Stanislav Mamulat, Advisor to the General Director of the FAA "ROSDORNIA", made a report on "Digital trends in ensuring the safety of road transport".
In his speech, along with highlighting the latest trends in the development of systems for organizing the interaction of "smart cars" with "smart roads" (CAVH - Connected Automated Vehicle Highway), sensors for driver support and condition monitoring systems, he briefly highlighted the main "digital" tasks and activities of the national project "Safe and high-quality highways".
