The Scientific Institute joined the panel discussion on the creation of intelligent transport systems across the country. The Russian Public-Private Partnership Week started on September 28 in Moscow at the SAP Digital Leadership Center. The Congress is organized by the National PPP Center and the Roscongress Foundation. This year, the focus was on attracting private investment in the modernization of the country's infrastructure, including the development of urban areas and the introduction of digital technologies to improve the quality of people's lives. Within the framework of the event, strategic sessions were held on the most pressing issues of PPP policy, modernization of legislation and transport infrastructure. Debates and panel discussions were organized in a live format every day.

The Russian Road Research Institute also took part in one of them, the main topic of the discussion was: "ITS: how to prepare regional infrastructure for digitalization." Joined the discussion representatives of the federal government, businessmen and public figures. The topic of the introduction of intelligent transport systems was considered this time in the context of public-private partnership: how to launch a project in the subjects quickly and without unjustified expenses, while respecting the interests of all.

How the situation with the introduction of ITS in Russia already looks like, and what problems we have to face, he toldVasily Kurguzov, Head of the ITS Department of the FAU "ROSDORNII". The Scientific Institute, we recall, has been given the function of methodological and informational support of subjects. The speaker said that by 2024, ITS will be created in urban agglomerations, and ITS testing ground will also begin its work. The project will be tested and developed, and already in 2030 it will be scaled at the level of smaller settlements, regional and inter-municipal roads. The speaker showed what the unified platform of the transport complex of the Russian Federation and the national network of ITS will consist of:

"Our task is to create a national network of ITS. It involves the creation of a regional and federal level, the latter will unite and set uniform requirements, manage traffic flows. And the subjects will have to exchange information among themselves, interact. So that the driver crossed the territory, got into another subject and, roughly speaking, did not notice it"- Vasily Kurguzov explained.

The Infrastructure Congress gathers about one and a half thousand people at its venues every year, including representatives of federal and regional authorities, top managers of banks and investment and construction companies, financial and legal consultants, leading Russian and foreign experts. It was also possible to join sessions and discussions online, all events were broadcast live. The Russian PPP Week ended its work on October 1.
