The RNNT topic was highlighted at the International Innovation Forum
At the end of September 2020, the International Scientific and Practical Conference DigTechIMC-2020 was held in St. Petersburg: "Digital technologies and innovative materials in road and bridge construction. Directions of development". At the plenary session, Ilya Klyuchnikov, Head of the Registry and R&D Planning Department of the FAU "ROSDORNII", made a report on the Register of New and Best Technologies, Materials and Technological Solutions for Reuse (RNNT). The expert spoke about the current filling of the Register, the use of new technologies in the regions as part of the implementation of the national project "Safe and high-quality Highways" (NP "BCAD") and plans to modernize the RNNT in the near future.
The purpose of creating the Register was to solve one of the key tasks of NP "BCAD" – modernization of the Russian road industry by selecting and implementing the most effective and modern technologies of road construction and repair. By 2024, the share of government contracts using such technologies should be at least 80%. This figure is the most important target indicator of the implementation of the national project. As of September 2020, its average performance in Russia is 57.3%, which is almost three times higher than the planned value for this year. Moreover, in many regions, the share of the use of innovations within the framework of state contracts already reaches the required 80%.
This advance of the schedule is largely due to the rate of filling of the RNNT, which is carried out under the control of the Expert Council established on the basis of the Industry-Wide Competence Center (BCC).
In accordance with the current procedure, any subject of the industry can apply for the inclusion of its products or technologies in the Register. At the moment, the RNNT already includes more than 300 new technologies, 750 types of modern materials for road construction and about 200 original design solutions, as well as information about their application on the example of more than a thousand realized objects.
The Institute's specialists are continuously working to improve the mechanisms of users' work with the Registry. In particular, at the moment, the updating of regulatory and technical documents in the field of road management; work is underway on the regulations for data backup; new analytics and reporting modules are being created; protocols for integration and data exchange with external information systems are being implemented; databases on industry specialists are being formed, etc.
The Register is a publicly available information resource containing information about materials and technologies used in road construction, as well as up-to-date information about their application on real objects and the results of this application, including economic efficiency. This allows you to quickly multiply successful experience and make its use ubiquitous. RNNT users include the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, regional road departments and organizations, design bureaus, contractors, suppliers of materials and equipment, as well as representatives of the expert community.
