On February 7 and 8, working meetings of representatives of the FAA "ROSDORNIA" with colleagues from the UP "Road Research Institute" were held in the capital of Uzbekistan.
ROSDORNII acted as the initiator and organizer of bilateral negotiations. The Russian side was represented by Deputy Director General Ulugbek Kasymov and Chief Specialist of the Department for International Relations Marina Zybkina. Director of the Institute Otabek Ismailov, Deputy Director for Science Mahmud Abdullayev and Head of the Department of Diagnostics of Highways Rustam Khalilov were present from the Research Institute of Uzbekistan.
Today, there are many objective reasons for the development of bilateral cooperation between road workers of our countries: work within the framework of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan, the roadmap and GIS, the development and harmonization of road standards, the exchange of scientific, technical and legal information, the organization of training and advanced training of industry workers.
During the meeting, the employees of the FAA "ROSDORNIA" outlined their position on the issues of updating Memorandum of cooperation in the road transport industry, Uzbek colleagues were told about the national project "Safe and high-quality highways" and the activities of the BCC on new materials and technologies for the construction, repair and maintenance of highways, to improve road safety indicators.
The parties agreed to prepare and sign a Memorandum on further cooperation between the FAA "ROSDORNIA" and the UPR in the field of diagnostics of highways, research of asphalt concrete, in-house processing, organization of road safety and transport security. In the near future, joint work plans include the organization of an international scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory.
