Representatives of the FAA "ROSDORNIA" took part in the international meeting

March 7, 2019. An international meeting on the organization of scientific and technical cooperation within the framework of the development of the Silk Road was held at the Russian University of Transport "MIIT".


The moderator of the meeting and the speaker of reports on promising areas and formats of Russian-Chinese scientific, technical and educational cooperation within the framework of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative, as well as on scientific and technical issues of the concept of the Yangtze-Volga-Viking transmodal container corridor being developed by the VEB Institute for Research and Expertise was the Advisor to the Director General ROSDORNII FAA and Stanislav Mamulat, member of the Board of the International Transport Alliance "One Belt, One Road". 

The First Vice-Rector of RUT "MIIT" delivered a welcoming speech from the Russian side and a message about the cooperation of RUT MIIT with universities of the People's Republic of China Vladimir Timonin, Head of the Department of International Cooperation Lyubov Luchinina and Head of the Department of Highways, Foundations and Foundations of the RUT "MIIT" Alexander Lushnikov.

About "Tasks and prospects of scientific and technical and scientific and educational cooperation between the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China in the field of new technologies of road management in the light of the implementation of national projects for the development of transport infrastructure," said Sergey Popov, Adviser to the Director General of the FAA ROSDORNII.

Alexander Boreyko, member of the Transport Subcommittee of the RSPP International Cooperation Committee, Director General of Inteltech and Sergey Burago, President of the Silk Road Association and Director General of Sovtransavto-Moscow, spoke about the experience and tasks of information technology support for pilot projects of cross-border road transport.

Andrey Ushakov, General Director of the Technology Base Company, and Yulia Korotkova, Director for Strategic Development of the Mir Publishing House, spoke about the "Tasks and experience of developing the information environment for scientific and technological cooperation between the Russian Federation and China".

Andrey Averyanov, Head of the Department of Information and Telecommunication Technologies of the MEI Design Bureau, spoke about the possibilities of scientific and technological cooperation in the creation of the Eurasian high-precision Navigation System "Moscow Time" in the framework of implementation of the agreement signed in November 2018 between Roscosmos and Bei-Dou corporations.

The head of the Chinese-Russian Center for Research and Regional Cooperation of Jilin University made a welcoming speech from the Chinese side and a detailed presentation on new opportunities and directions for the development of scientific and technical cooperation in the light of the creation of a new fund under the auspices of the State Committee for Development and Reform of the People's Republic of China to finance joint projects for the development of the Russian Far East. Heads of Moscow representative offices of Chinese corporations Sino Hydro Power China and Tianjin Hitech Environment Development Co. Liu Ye and Wang Hainan reported on the experience of preparing complex engineering and high-tech projects with Russian engineering companies and universities.

Following the meeting, the participants unanimously decided to support the proposal of the Silk Road Association on the preparation of specialized Russian-Chinese sections within the framework of the events of the World Transport Forum (WTC-2019, June 13-16 in Beijing)  and YI Russian-Chinese Expo (June 15-19 in Harbin).
