On November 18, a round table on the topic "Public passenger transport: intellectual transformation, organizational reform" will be held in Moscow, on the territory of the Gostiny Dvor complex. The organizer of the event, which will be held as part of the "Transport Week-2021", is the FAA "ROSDORNII".
During the round table, the following issues will be considered, among others:

contribution of ITS tools to the successful reform of the work of passenger transport of agglomerations (tools for monitoring traffic and passenger flows, monitoring the work of the carrier, dispatching, cashless fare, and others);

approaches to optimization of route networks of public urban passenger transport using mathematical modeling tools;
-
reforming the organizational and economic model of public urban passenger transport (including the transition to "gross contracting" of carriers) as prerequisites for the successful implementation of ITS;
-
the experience of Russian regions, project organizations and carrier companies in reforming public transport systems based on a rational route network, payment for the transport work performed ("gross contracting"), and the use of ITS tools and subsystems.
It is planned that the participants of the conference will be representatives of the Ministry of Transport of Russia, public authorities of the subjects of the Russian Federation in the field of transport, scientific and design organizations, as well as carrier companies.
