Many routes are no longer inferior to foreign ones. This was achieved due to the increasing requirements for the quality of roads. Outdated GOST standards are being replaced by new ones. Only
In 2021, 165 standards were developed and changed. They are aimed at improving the durability of roads and safety. Road works in the regions have reached a new level. Technologies that have successfully proven themselves on federal highways are used here.
All this places higher requirements on the quality of professional training of road workers. The creation and development of a professional development system was entrusted to our institute. We have developed 27 professional programs. We update them annually.
The training is carried out at the expense of the federal budget. The only condition for admission is the presence of higher or secondary vocational education. Studying is mostly online. And according to programs where testing is provided, full-time training in special laboratories. In 2021, the qualification was increased by more than five thousands of road workers. Another eight thousand participated in informational events and watched webinars on the record.

- The national project "Safe high-quality roads" makes it possible to study on the job.
The knowledge gained especially helped us last year. About 200 kilometers of roads were repaired in the Leningrad region according to the national project. The share of facilities where new and best technologies were used was more than 80 percent.

- The use of volumetric and functional design will increase the strength of asphalt concrete pavements, keep roads in a standard condition for longer. Therefore, it was important for us to master this technology and start using it in the Tula region.
