The Ministry of Transport and Road Management of Udmurtia hosted an extended training seminar for public figures. The teachers for the audience were specialists of KU UR "Managtodor", as well as Mindortrans.

Training seminars have become traditional for Udmurtia during the work of the national project.
Recently, they have been held twice a year - before the start of the road season to prepare new members of public organizations to work at the facilities of the national project "Safe High-Quality Roads", and also at the end of the year to summarize and discuss the progress of work and mistakes.

In 2022, six public organizations of the republic will work at the objects of the national project: ONF, "Motorists of Udmurtia", the Public Chamber of Izhevsk, the organization of wheelchair users "Blago", the All-Russian Society of the Blind and the All-Russian Society of the Disabled. The questions for the seminar were offered by the social activists themselves. Of particular interest is the technological side of road works, violations of technological processes that can affect the quality of work. In addition, the participants of the inspections were concerned about the process of checking bridges. With In 2022, as part of the BCD in the republic, it is planned to repair five bridge crossings across the Kiznerka, Izh, Ludzilka, Chegandinka rivers and across the Siva River at once.

The geography of the work of the national project "Safe high-quality roads" in Udmurtia is great. Within the boundaries of the Izhevsk agglomeration, road repairs are carried out in Sarapul, Mozhga, Izhevsk, as well as in twelve districts of Udmurtia. This year, for the first time, the Sarapulsky district will join the work, in which three road facilities will be repaired.

"This is my first time at a training seminar, so I'm interested in a lot, although not everything is clear. Therefore, we will study and improve our road knowledge. And experienced colleagues in the ONF help in this. You understand that now when checking objects, I will no longer be able to say something like "I like" or "I don't like". Now my assessment of the work should be given on the merits, here we need to understand the essence of the issue. And if you criticize the work of road workers, then for an obvious marriage, and if you accept roads, then only in accordance with the requirements," a resident of Sarapul, an activist of the All–Russian Popular Front in Udmurtia, is sure
Oleg Vasiliev.

How roadsides are arranged and how to check them at the facility, how to work on bridge crossings, what types and brands of asphalt "work" on the roads of Udmurtia, whether its quality meets GOST standards - all this was discussed during the "road lesson".

"In addition to the laboratory of the Ministry of Transport, asphalt is checked by the laboratories of enterprises, stroykontrol, and also ROSDORNII comes, takes cores. Cores can be taken at any time while the asphalt is standing. And therefore, it will show whether the material that should be there is really there or not. To date, we have more than 30 asphalt concrete plants in the republic, 9 of them are modern, which were bought new. And at these plants, we already produce asphalt according to new GOST standards. And I must say that recently the marriage in the road industry has decreased by 30%. It is unprofitable for enterprises to do their work poorly, so that they can then redo it at their own expense," explained Alexey Gorbachev, Minister of Transport and Road Management of Udmurtia.

From April 1, public activists will come out for warranty inspections of road facilities as part of technical commissions established in all municipalities. All road facilities in the region will be checked by May 15. And since May, the road starts in Udmurtia season. As part of the national project, 115 road facilities with a total length of more than 130 km, as well as 5 bridges will be repaired.
