(Kazan, July 3, Tatar-inform). Specialists of the branch of the Russian Road Research Institute (ROSDORNII) checked in Tatarstan the quality of road repairs carried out under the national project "Safe and high-quality highways" using modern technologies. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Employees of the Perm branch of ROSDORNIA visited the road facilities of the republic from June 30 to July 2. In particular, they checked the quality of the pavement on Tetsevskaya Street in Kazan, as well as on the regional bypass road of the village of Baltasi.

"This was the first visit of auditors to the republic this year. In the future, quality monitoring will be carried out regularly," the ministry noted. – The selected cores are sent to the laboratory, where they will be tested for porosity, density, water saturation, and the degree of adhesion between the layers. The compressive strength limit will also be set."

According to the head of the quality audit department of the Perm branch of ROSDORNIA Nikolay Volchenkov, even before laboratory tests during inspection of samples determined that the thickness of the top layer of asphalt concrete coating meets the requirements.

Monitoring the quality of road works is one of the tasks of the national project "Safe and High–quality Highways". ROSDORNII acts as an external expert and promptly warns the regions about inaccuracies or violations in the use of technologies at the facilities of the national project.
