Dumenko, Pionerskaya, Gagarina: large-scale road repairs have finally begun in Volgodonsk

The long-awaited repair of roads began in Volgodonsk.

May was the first month this year when serious roadway repair work began in Volgodonsk. Despite the fact that the contracts were signed in early April, the workers brought out road equipment only a month later. To accelerate the pace, even the prosecutor's office had to intervene in the case, which carried out an inspection of a number of roads, revealing that pits and potholes threaten the life and health of all road users.

So, on the morning of May 4, Volgodonsk residents found road equipment and cut sections of the roadway on the street Pionerskaya from Vokzalny Lane to Dzerzhinsky Lane. Here the work is carried out within the framework of the pit repair contract concluded with the local FAA firm "ROSDORNII". By the way, about a year ago, the section from Mayakovsky Lane to Vokzalny Lane was repaired on Pionerskaya Street.

In early May, the company FAA "ROSDORNII" brought its equipment to other transport arteries of the city - to the long-suffering Gagarin Street and the street Dumenko.

On Gagarin Street, the work takes place on the odd side of the street from house No. 7 to Spring Street on 487 meters of roadway. There is already another contract here, and the work is more serious than on Pionerskaya Street - repairs are carried out by cutting cards.

By the way, it was originally planned to repair 479 meters more, but due to a sharp increase in tar prices in early March, the volumes were reduced. Initially, the administration planned to repair the entire odd side of Gagarin Street from Enthusiasts Street to Spring Street.

In order to carry out repairs using the card-cutting method, on the morning of May 4, traffic along Dumenko Street from Victory Square to Morskaya Street was also blocked.

It should be noted that since the beginning of the year, the administration has allocated a total of about 30 million rubles for the repair of roads in Volgodonsk. As part of the contracts, sections of roads on Stroiteley Avenue, Zheleznodorozhnaya Street, Portovaya Street and Tsimlyanskoe Highway should also be repaired. The prosecutor's office, in turn, also ordered the authorities to repair Stepnaya Street, Morskaya Street, Vokzalny Lane, Embankment Street, Kommunisticheskiy Lane and Mira Avenue.
