The condition for the implementation of the priority project "Safe high-quality roads" is the use of practices from the Register of New and newest technologies. This is an up-to-date list of materials and technological solutions for reuse for road activities, created on the basis of the FAA "ROSDORNIA".
In the Orenburg Region in 2021, such technologies were used in the execution of 12 out of 17 major contracts for the repair and overhaul of roads of regional and inter-municipal significance, which is more than 70% of the total amount of work.
In general, in Orenburg region for the third year in a row, new technologies have been successfully used in the design of asphalt concrete mixtures that are used for road repairs. The design takes into account the features of the future operation of the highway - temperature differences, humidity, traffic intensity and prevailing types of transport. Before being sent to the facilities, asphalt concrete samples undergo a comprehensive inspection in a specialized laboratory of the Main Department of Road Management of the region.
Among the well-proven new technologies is cold regeneration, or recycling. She it involves the processing of road materials that are part of the old road, right on the job site, with the simultaneous addition of new binding materials.
In 2021, 390 regional roads were repaired in Orenburg region, of which 172 km were overhauled. The use of cold recycling in the process of capital repairs during the construction of the foundation of roads allowed to significantly speed up and reduce the cost of these works. Thus, sections of the highways Buzuluk-Koltubanovsky in Buzuluksky district, Novosergievka-Ilek and Sharlyk-Novosergievka in Novosergievsky district, Pugachevsky-Ivanovka in Orenburg district, Saraktash-Buruncha-Novomikhailovka in Saraktashsky district and Orsk-Shilda -border of Chelyabinsk region in Novoorsky and Adamovsky districts were repaired. For this purpose, three specialized installations were purchased by contractors.
