Alexander Kamenskikh, Deputy Director General of the Institute, as well as heads of the transport complex of Russia, representatives of state authorities, the expert community, key players in the infrastructure projects market took part in the conference on behalf of ROSDORNIA.
Alexander Kamenskikh made an introductory speech at the event. He recalled that the strategy for the development of the construction materials industry for the period up to 2030 provides for an increase in the share of the construction of highways with cement-concrete pavement in the total volume of construction of paved roads. According to him, ROSDORNII has developed standards for cement-concrete mixtures for the construction of layers of foundations and coatings of public roads, the documents entered into force on August 1 of this year.
"We are currently conducting research on practical experience in ensuring the quality of cement concrete, including test methods, requirements for cement concrete and the production of cement concrete works on public roads, with the development of a set of national standards regulating the requirements for cement concrete," Kamenskikh stressed.
He added that ROSDORNII is ready to further develop the regulatory framework, to help the regions introduce new technologies in the road industry.During the conference, the issues of the use of effective road-building materials, advanced construction technologies that ensure an increase in the service life of road coverings and coatings, as well as a reduction in operating costs were considered.
