The Institute's projects became winners in the competition "Roads of Russia – 2020"
The winners of the All–Russian competition "Roads of Russia - 2020" were announced on October 8. The solemn ceremony was traditionally timed to the Day of Road Workers, which the industry will celebrate next week. The organizers of the competition are the Union of Employers in the Road Sector "ASPOR" and the All-Russian Central Committee of Trade Unions of Road Transport and Road Workers.
The FAA "ROSDORNII" took 4 awards at once – in the nominations "Innovation of the Year" and "Best Road Laboratory".
The first accelerator of the road industry was presented as innovative projects, as well as the work of the head of the Department of expertise and risk assessment of the FAA "ROSDORNII" A.V. Kochetkov with an innovative project for the experimental production of cold wet asphalt concrete mixtures.
Recall that the accelerator of the road industry is a platform for technological re–equipment of the road sector, which was launched within the framework of the national project "Safe and high-quality highways". Now the accelerator's website accepts applications from the first candidates for participation in the program, innovators who want to receive support in expanding the use of their technology.
"We thank the organizers of the contest for the high appreciation of our activities! In 2019, a Platform for the re-equipment of the industry was launched to search for innovative and technological projects that can and should re-equip the industry. This year, as part of the development of the Site, we launched the first accelerator in the road industry, and already now we see from the incoming applications that this tool is in demand: we receive applications from both young scientists with ideas and prototypes, and from existing organizations with technological solutions that have a high potential for scaling," she said. The winners in the nomination "Best Road Laboratory" were the road laboratory of the Voronezh branch of the FAA "ROSDORNII", as well as a laboratory for collecting spatial data in order to create a digital model of roads.
"In 2018, we were tasked with creating a mobile road laboratory. And for almost two years we have been formulating technical requirements for this laboratory, we have been looking for suppliers of both components and the laboratory as a whole. Based on the results of the work done, a contract was signed with the winner of the competitive procedure at the end of 2019. And in the middle of 2020, we got our car. Our task is to create a digital model of Russian roads with the help of the laboratory within the framework of the national project "Safe and High-quality Highways". The first such model. This is a unique project," he said about the developmentRoman Eremin, Deputy Head of the Department of Methods of Designing Highways of the FAA "ROSDORNII".
Head of Spatial Data Collection and Processing Department Dmitry Tselkovnev emphasized the team nature of the work: "I would like to add that this is a joint work of the Department of spatial data collection and processing and the Department of Innovative Technologies in Engineering research of the Department of Methods of Designing Highways of the FAA "ROSDORNII".
