The international forum “Kazan Digital Week 2022” started in Kazan on September 21. FAI “ROSDORNII” delegation, headed by General Director Aleksander Bedusenko, takes part in the event. The Institute opened a stand at the exhibition of high-tech equipment and software. The exposition is devoted to pospective developments, including the Road Funds Control System (SKDF), as well as the project of the first in Russia ITS Pilot Zone in the Republic of Tatarstan.
“The Forum is very important for strengthening the Russian economy, trade relations and exchange of scientific experience. Our technological achievements are aimed at strengthening the country's technical sovereignty and ensuring technological leadership,” said Alexander Bedusenko.
FAI “ROSDORNII” exposition was visited by the Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Dmitry Bakanov and the Minister of Transport and Road Facilities of the Republic of Tatarstan Farit Khanifov. They noted the high level of projects presented by the Institute. The developments will significantly improve the quality of the country's transport network.
For example, the SKDF, created by the Institute's specialists within the National Project "Safe High-Quality Roads" (NP BKD) framework. It makes it possible to monitor the processes of formation and use of road funds at all levels. The information system contains an up-to-date database of highways, analytical data on road works, traffic accidents and procurement. In addition, the System has the ability to develop and maintain road activity schedules for regions, including the core road network development.
The first ITS Pilot Zone in Russia will be launched on the territory of the Alabuga Special Economic Zone in the Republic of Tatarstan and adjacent sections of the regional highway 16K-0809. FAI “ROSDORNII” is developing a project to ensure the movement of highly automated vehicles (VATS) in real traffic flow, conducting experiments and testing intelligent technologies.
At the Pilot zone all VATS types and models will be tested for their interaction with the ITS infrastructure, high-precision positioning systems and a digital dynamic traffic map.
Another important direction of the Institute's work is the Advanced Training System (SPK) for road workers, developed within the framework of the NP BKD. Aleksey Ignatiev, Head of the Department for the Development of Sectoral Education of FAI “ROSDORNII”, spoke about this at "Modern Digital Technologies in the Educational Process" session.
“Road construction is developing at a rapid pace and we are faced with an ambitious task - high-quality training of specialists in new technologies on the ground throughout the Russian Federation. We try to make the most of all available interaction formats. Distance learning technologies have shown high efficiency,” said Alexey Ignatiev.
Today, the SPK is focused on training road construction and maintenance personnel in the use of innovative developments and materials. The programs are also aimed at studying changes in regulatory documentation and legislation. Specialists can take online training courses on the Unified Industry Educational Portal (rosdorspk.ru), as well as to attend webinars of FAI “ROSDORNII” experts. All participants are issued a state-recognized document on advanced training.
