On May 20 and 21, 2021, the VI was held on the basis of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University annual international conference "Transport Planning and Modeling". At the event, the topics of solving problems in transport planning within the framework of the national project "Safe High-quality Roads", modernization of public transport, modern methods of transport modeling, the main trends of digitalization, intelligent transport systems, micromobility and training of scientific personnel and educational programs were widely covered.

It was dedicated to the use of data from automated weight and size control points to obtain data. Ekaterina Bryazgina noted the problems of performers in preparing the initial data needed for modeling and presented a previously unused method of obtaining data with the use of automated weight and size control points.

The annual international conference "Transport Planning and Modeling" has been held since 2016 and gathers domestic and foreign experts in the field of transport systems development on its site. The conference is organized by the Association of Transport Engineers with the assistance of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, FAA "ROSDORNII", higher educational institutions and executive authorities. In 2021, 1,863 participants from 177 cities in 65 countries took part in the conference in online and face-to-face format.
