Meeting of the management of the FAA "ROSDORNIA" with representatives of the pilot regions of the Russian Federation

"Working together is the way to the most effective implementation of the national project" – it was with these words that the meeting of the leadership of the Federal State Budgetary Institution ROSDORNIA with representatives of the road management bodies of the Republic of Crimea, Kursk and Tula regions ended on September 11, 2019. The main topic of the meeting was the search for ways of interaction on the implementation of the national project "Safe and high-quality highways" in the relevant subjects of the Russian Federation.

The meeting was attended by the heads and experts of various departments responsible for the key areas of the national project "Safe and High-quality Highways", as a result of which, a wide range of issues were discussed at the meeting. Advisory support from leading experts of the road industry, diagnostics of the condition of highways in the regions, implementation of life cycle contracts (LCC) – in these and many other areas, the industry-wide competence center created on the basis of the institute is ready to offer its assistance. During the meeting, the parties also discussed the importance of such tools as a register of new and best technologies in road construction, a system for monitoring road funds, improving the level of professional education of road industry personnel and organizing the exchange and replication of experience among industry organizations.

"There is nothing more profitable in the road industry than doing everything right, and therefore the main focus in our work should be on the quality of the work carried out. Everything that we will build with you should serve effectively for many years" – the words of one of the experts of the FAA "ROSDORNIA", which became the main motive of the meeting, during which an agreement was reached on the joint development of human resources and interaction of the regions with the Industry–wide Competence Center for new materials and technologies for the construction, repair and maintenance of highways.

It is this kind of cooperation that will accelerate the re-equipment of the road industry and bring it to a qualitatively different technological level in the future.
