The experts of the Perm branch also summed up the results of the previous trip.
Last week, experts from the Perm branch of the FAA "ROSDORNIA" visited several facilities reconstructed and repaired within the framework of the national project "Safe and high-quality Highways".
"The Russian Road Research Institute is one of the key coordination centers of the country, which monitors the progress of the implementation of the profile national project. It is gratifying that specialists are showing interest in the work that has been done on the territory of our region. In the current season, within the framework of the national project "Safe and high-quality highways", more than 145 km of highways have been brought into standard condition. It is important to make sure of the proper quality of the finished objects, not only the capabilities of local responsible departments and road laboratories are used for this, but also the result is evaluated by experts of federal departments," commented the Governor of the Ulyanovsk regionSergey Morozov.
Random inspection of the quality of work is carried out throughout country. In the Ulyanovsk region, experts from the Perm branch of the FAA "ROSDORNIA" conducted an audit of completed works on the regional highwayTrusleika – Tiyapino – Chamzinka and on the section of the roundabout in Inza. Repairs at these facilities have been completed, now the contractor is undergoing the procedure of putting the sites into operation.
"The audit is carried out according to several criteria, depending on the stage of work – from checking design estimates and studying government contracts at the initial stage to evaluating the parameters of the roadway, roadsides, road markings and signs after all the work is done. In 2020, we have already visited the Ulyanovsk region in order to take core samples at the stage of work. Now I can say that they have passed all the tests and meet the stated requirements. In general, we can give a positive assessment of the road works in the region carried out under the national project of the BCAD," said N. Ikolai, head of the department of quality audit and introduction of new technologies of the Perm branch of the FAA ROSDORNII Volchenkov.
The purpose of the inspection is to timely convey information about the quality of work to all participants in road activities, including customers and contractors. This will allow, if any inaccuracies are detected, to eliminate them in time, as well as to use recommendations when working at other facilities.
