Specialists visited the section of the highway "Tambov-Kotovsk", where repairs are being carried out under the national project "Safe and high-quality highways".
Departure to the section of the highway "Tambov-Kotovsk" in the Tambov district (km. 10+200 – km. 20+700) took place today, April 24, to monitor (audit) the quality of road works. The levelling layer of the road surface is already being installed on this site. Specialists of the Voronezh branch of the FAA "ROSDORNII" conducted sampling from the arranged structure for testing in the laboratory.
The device of the upper layer will be produced with the use of crushed stone-mastic asphalt concrete – SCHMA. After its installation, the specialists of the Voronezh branch of the FAA "ROSDORNIA" will also conduct sampling.
It should be noted that this is the second visit of the staff of the quality audit department and the introduction of new technologies to the facility in the Tambov region. For the first time, specialists visited there before the start of work – as part of the preparatory stage of quality monitoring. This stage includes the analysis of documentation, qualifications of personnel involved in road activities, sampling of raw materials and photographing. Such work, we recall, was carried out last week in Michurinsky and Pervomaisky districts of the Tambov region.

And the employees of the Volgograd branch made a trip to the Airport highway, where repairs will be carried out.
Selective quality monitoring (audit) is carried out at all stages of road construction works. Experts report the results, including the identified comments, to the participants of road activities – for timely elimination of deficiencies, the data are also included in the report to the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.

"For the first time we are taking asphalt samples here. We will evaluate by parameters such as water saturation and compaction. The quality of work, durability of the coating and road safety depend on it. Previously, inert materials and crushed stone were taken for testing at this facility. Their quality corresponded to the declared certificates.
