Repairs on regional and urban highways were evaluated by employees of the Voronezh branch of the FAA "ROSDORNIA". Selective monitoring of work on the national project "Safe high-quality roads" is carried out annually by specialists. The most capital-intensive objects are selected for the audit. In the Kursk region, experts from the Road Institute examined seven sites under repair.
One of the longest sections was Dzerzhinsky Street, where it is necessary to bring more than 2 km of the roadway into a standard condition. The road services milled the old roadbed, replaced the side stone, laid the leveling and upper layers of the coating. Currently, work on the site is being completed, and it remains for the builders to mark up and install road signs.
ROSDORNIA experts checked the executive documentation, compliance with the technology of work, carried out the selection of inert materials and mixtures at the asphalt concrete plant of the contractor organization that is engaged in the repair of Dzerzhinsky Street. Samples (cores) from the finished coating were taken at the facility itself for testing. The laboratory will check their physico-mechanical properties, grain composition and degree of compaction.
To date, the specialists of the Voronezh branch of ROSDORNIA have eight regions of the Central Federal District under control. They highly appreciated the level of work on the national project in the Kursk region.
