The FAA "ROSDORNII" plans to launch a special competition among the regions for the introduction of creative solutions in road construction. Alexey Kovrov, Acting Deputy Director General of the Scientific Institute, told about this at the INNOPROM International Industrial Exhibition as part of the session "Creative Economy as a factor in the development of the region".
In his speech, Alexey Kovrov drew the attention of the participants to the complexity of the introduction of new technologies in the road sector. To date, almost all public roads are owned by the state at various levels, and any new idea must go through a rather long and difficult way of coordination. To solve this problem, the Accelerator of the road industry was launched by ROSDORNIA.
– There are nuances in the road industry in terms of creativity, – said Kovrov. – She is quite conservative, there are strict rules and it is difficult to find an opportunity to "land" an idea. It is necessary to organize a link between a creative idea and its potential consumer at the state level. That's what we're trying to do right now.
According to him, this year the acceleration program will be expanded, but it will be implemented in a targeted mode. Now ROSDORNII actively cooperates with the regions in order to determine the needs of each in a specific technological solution.
The accelerator model developed at ROSDORNIA as part of the implementation of the national project "Safe High-quality Roads" is designed to create a comfortable environment for young scientists and entrepreneurs, support their technological and scientific projects. The institute's efforts helped to build and launch an acceleration platform in 2020 on a non-investment basis. The mechanism is focused on technology testing with an eye to pilot implementation and further inclusion in the Register of New and Best technologies (RNNT) of the road industry.
