Specialists of the Orenburg branch of the Russian Road Research Institute monitored the quality of road works in the Samara region. The audit was conducted by experts at six repair facilities – these are roads: Samara – Volgograd – Zvezda, Obvodnaya – Nur – Spiridonovka, Chubovka – Syreika – Obvodnaya, Tolyatti – Tashelka, as well as Dzerzhinskaya Street in Tolyatti and Moskovskoe Highway in Samara.
During the events, specialists inspected the facilities, checked the executive documentation and compliance with the technology of work, selected samples of asphalt concrete mixtures, coating samples (cores), as well as inert materials for testing in the laboratory as part of the implementation of the national project "Safe Quality Roads". The working group also visited asphalt concrete plants, where experts checked laboratory equipment, personnel qualifications, regulatory documentation, as well as how materials for the preparation of mixtures are stored.
It should be noted that the main purpose of monitoring the quality of road works is to collect, analyze, and bring information about the quality of road construction work to all interested participants.
