On December 5, in Khabarovsk, the employees of the FAA "ROSDORNIA" held a seminar "Application of technologies included in the Register of new and best technologies, materials and technological solutions for reuse".
The event continued a series of training seminars within the framework of the implementation of the national project "Safe and high-quality highways". The participants were representatives of relevant authorities and contractors of the road industry from the Khabarovsk, Primorsky, Kamchatka, Trans-Baikal Territories, Amur and Magadan regions, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
The purpose of the seminars is to tell in an accessible and simple way about the complex, emphasized Olga Vorobyeva, Deputy Director for Science of ROSDORNIA: to destroy myths about new technologies (for example, that their implementation is too expensive); to explain how to introduce and apply new technologies; what equipment is required, and whether new equipment is required in principle. So, according to ROSDORNIA employees, all asphalt concrete plants in the regions are actually ready to use new technologies. For example, such as Marshall and Superpave asphalt concrete mix volumetric design systems. Recall that it was working with volumetric design methods that training seminars in Kazan and Kursk were devoted to – the introduction of technology for the device of mixtures and technologies for improving quality during laying.
This time, the seminar was told about the technology of asphalt concrete layers with the use of mixtures designed by volumetric methods. Along with the method of cold regeneration (another topic was the application of the technology of reuse of materials in the construction of structural layers of pavement by this method), the methods of volumetric design in ROSDORNIA are called critical technologies for the industry. According to this principle, the seminar program was formed. It also included such issues as: "technology of rubber-metal deformation joints" and "technology of sanitation during the repair of culverts on public roads".
All the technologies that were discussed at the seminar are part of the Register of New and best Technologies, Materials and Technological Solutions for reuse. This is a database with a web interface, which collects the most effective innovations and technologies of the sphere. The formation and maintenance of the Register is carried out by the Industry-wide Competence Center of the FAA "ROSDORNII". Each innovation before entering into the database undergoes a strict selection, which is carried out by the Expert Council of the BCC. Alexey Kovrov, Director for Organizational Activities of the OCC, told about its creation at the seminar. Now a list of materials and technologies for 2020 is being formed. As of December 3, there are 284 positions in it.
The introduction of new technologies and materials for the transition to a qualitatively new level of road construction is one of the components of the successful implementation of the national project "BCAD". One of the key targets specified in the passport of the national project is the share of new state contracts concluded by the region, using new technologies and materials from the Register. In 2024, the indicator should be 80%. In 2019 – 10%. As of December 5, the figure of 45.7% has already been reached.
In the future, it is planned to continue full-time training seminars in the regions. Each time the number of participants in them increases – this indicates the relevance of the issues under consideration, ROSDORNIA noted. We add that programs are also formed based on the Registry positions for the professional development system. This is another task performed by ROSDORNII within the framework of the national project. This year, the program "National Project of the BCAD was launched. Introductory course". The training started in mid-November.
