"The main provisions of the draft of the new GOST R 52289. Problems of coordination" - this report was made by Oleg Kuzmin, head of the Department of Engineering equipment and arrangement of highways of the FAA "ROSDORNII", at the 19th annual seminar "Road construction materials, products and structures and their role in ensuring road safety".
The expert meeting was attended by representatives of the FDA, Avtodor Group of Companies, MADI, CITI Dorcontrol, and public organizations.
- Our institute conducts purposeful, systematic work on updating national standards for technical means of traffic management and elements of highway improvement, - said Oleg Kuzmin. – We are developing draft amendments to national standards for signs (GOST R 52290), traffic lights (GOST R 52282), landscaping elements (GOST R 52766), as well as revising the standard for the rules of their application (GOST R 52289).
The requirements of the standards are brought into line with the new documents issued during their validity, in particular the technical regulations "Road Safety", amendments to the Rules of the Road, interstate and national standards.
Oleg Nikolaevich spoke in detail about the main provisions of the draft of the new GOST R 52289, as well as problems arising during interdepartmental approvals.
