On April 22, an expert meeting was held at the analytical center under the Government of the Russian Federation jointly with the FAA "ROSDORNII" on behalf of the Government of the Russian Federation on the topic "Barriers to expanding the practice of applying life cycle contracts in the implementation of the national project "Safe and High-quality Highways".
The meeting was attended by: the head of the expert-analytical Department E. A. Popova and the deputy head of the expert-analytical department A. A. Ermolov, as well as representatives of federal executive authorities, expert organizations and the scientific community.
The meeting discussed issues related to the need to implement life cycle contracts in the implementation of road activities, the existing restrictions for this and ways to overcome them. These issues are planned to be considered at the next project committee on the national project "Safe and high-quality highways" under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation M.A.Akimov.
Based on the results of the discussion, the Analytical Center will prepare proposals for removing barriers implementation of life cycle contracts and development of formats for their implementation.
