On September 24, 2019, the VIII International Conference "Bitumen and PBB 2019" was held in Moscow at the Baltschug Kempinski Hotel with the participation of representatives of manufacturers and suppliers of bitumen products and modifiers, representatives of trade and road construction companies, industry research institutes and universities.
The event was organized by the company "CREON Conferences" (creon-conferences.com ).
The key topics of the conference this year were:
state regulation, pricing and review of the current state of the Russian and international bitumen and PBB markets;
the effect of the damper on dark oil products in the framework of the implementation of national projects;
development of quality control laboratories, transport system and terminal network for bitumen storage, modernization of existing production facilities and launch of new ones;
From the FAA "ROSDORNIA" the conference was attended by: Senior Researcher at the Laboratory of Asphalt concrete, Organomineral mixtures and Organic Binders V.N. Garmanov, Head of the Laboratory of Asphalt concrete, organomineral mixtures and Organic Binders L.A. Gorelysheva, Advisor to the General Director of the FAA "ROSDORNII" S.L. Mamulat, Head of the Department of Research and Technical Expertise of the performance characteristics of asphalt concrete S.V. Polyakova and Head of the laboratory of the CCC M.A. Slavutsky.
During the conference, the following reports were presented: "Current intersectoral and interregional tasks to ensure the activities of national projects with high-quality bitumen materials without unreasonable price increases"* S.L. Mamulata, "The quality of binders as one of the main resources for increasing the inter-repair time. Approaches to the comparative assessment of inter-repair terms for non-rigid road clothes" by M.A. Slavutsky, "Analysis of the compatibility of modifiers with the type of mineral powder in asphalt concrete" by V.N. Garmanov.
Questions on these topics were also discussed within the framework of a round table on the tasks and problems of providing road facilities with high-quality bitumen materials. Representatives of LLK-International, Transitservisresurs and Baikal Bitumen Terminal (the largest producers of polymer-modified bitumen binders in the Far Eastern region) noted the extremely important importance of forecasting demand, pricing and quality control of supplied bitumen materials to stimulate the development of production and logistics capacities. The representative of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas, A.A. Gureev, suggested focusing on oil refining issues due to the expected shortage of raw materials for bitumen production.
