On April 2, Moscow hosted the MIDAS International Conference "Modern Technologies for the calculation and design of bridge structures".
New software complexes MIDAS CIM, MIDAS Civil and the MIDAS IT development program in the field of BIM were presented at the conference. BIM design is a complex of interconnected and interdependent data on architectural and planning, structural, economic, technological, operational characteristics of an object, combined in a single information field (BIM models), which allows you to manage information during the entire life cycle of the project. The participants of the conference were experienced engineers in the field of calculation and design of bridges, representatives of State expertise and software developers. In the program, experts examined the prospects for the development of BIM in bridge construction, prepared reports in the field of new design, reconstruction and diagnostics of bridges.
On behalf of the FAA "ROSDORNIA", the chief specialist of the bridge diagnostics department, N.A. Subordinov, took part in the conference.
