On October 11, 2019, the Institute of Economics and Finance of the Russian University of Transport hosted the II International Scientific and Practical Conference "Digital Transformation in the economy of the transport complex, development of digital ecosystems: science, practice, education" (https://miit-ief.ru/dt /).
The conference was organized by the Federal State Educational Institution "Russian University of Transport". Among the participants: leading Russian technical and transport universities, representatives of large state corporations, commercial and budgetary organizations.
Within the framework of the plenary session, S.L. Mamulat, Adviser to the General Director of the FAA "ROSDORNIA", made a report on "Trends in the development of digital technologies to improve road safety".
In addition to highlighting trends in the development of integrated systems "Smart Cars – Smart Road" (Connected Automated Vehicle Highway), the report touched upon the goals and objectives of the consortium created in 2018, headed by the Competence Center for Big Data Technologies for forecasting and creating new markets in the transport industry.
In the light of the approval by the President of the Russian Federation on 10.10.2019 The National Strategy for the Development of Artificial Intelligence for the period up to 2030 (Decree No. 490 of 10.10.2019) S.L. Mamulat's speech is becoming particularly relevant.
