The next seminar was devoted to the peculiarities of the standards for the design of road clothes.
The seminar was held on the educational portal of the road economy. Experts of the FAA "ROSDORNIA" spoke at the webinar as part of the implementation of the Advanced Training System. Over 160 people became listeners.
Head of the Design Methods DepartmentMarina Mikhaylenko presented the report "Features of standards for the design of road clothes, their applicability during repair and overhaul. Constructions of road clothes and methods of their repair". The standards of designing road clothes according to TR CU 014/2011 "Road safety", classification of road clothes structures, principles of choice of materials and technologies during repair work were considered.
Marina Mikhailenko introduced the audience to the classification of road clothes and types of pavement. She told about the defects of the road surface and ways to eliminate them, gave an algorithm for selecting the necessary types of road works and principles for determining the methods of their implementation.
ReportIrina Rakhimova, Head of the construction department of the roadbed, was devoted to the application of preliminary national standard – PNST 390-2020 "Public roads. Non-rigid travel clothes. Standard designs" – when designing non-rigid road clothes using standard designs. The expert spoke about the content and scope of the PNST 390, the features and features of standard roadwear designs, and explained the methodology of using PNST 390 for choosing a standard roadwear design for specific design conditions using a specific example.
The relevance of the selected topics was shown by the response from the audience – instead of the declared hour, the seminar lasted an hour and a half. The participants actively discussed the application of the norms and asked questions.
