From November 26 to December 1 will be heldOnline hackathon RoadHack 2021 for developers. The organizer of the event is ROSDORNII.
The hackathon is a unique opportunity to help Russian roads create a unique program for detecting pavement defects. The hackathon takes place only online and you can perform tasks in the comfort of your own home.
Hackathon Goals:
- creation and implementation of software for automation of the "Point Cloud" and "Photopanorama" systems that detect defects in the road surface;
- search for talented specialists in the field of programming in the interests of the road industry, as well as the Information Technology Department of ROSDORNIA;
- creating conditions for the introduction of new scientific and practical results obtained in solving the tasks set in the interests of the PARENT company.
The main task of the event participants is to offer the best option for processing the collected spatial data and recognition as a result of laser scanning by an automated system for classifying objects in a point cloud and identifying defects road surface.
Participants of the online hackathon will have the opportunity to develop their own solution or become an official participant in the creation of high-tech technology of the road industry. The prize fund is 300 thousand rubles. The jury will include specialists from ROSDORNIA and experts from leading industry organizations.
Registration of participants ends on November 26, an online meetup with ROSDORNIA experts will take place on November 27, finalists will be announced on November 28, and a presentation of finalists' decisions and summing up will take place on December 1.
